Jo Daviess County Transit is a County Public Transportation System operated by The Workshop. All Transportation Services provided are available to the general public.
All Transit vehicles are equipped with lifts and are handicapped accessible.
Jo Daviess County Transit operates within the territorial boundaries of Jo Daviess County and provides the following transportation services:
Intra-Community General Public Service:
Routes run weekday mornings and afternoons between all communities in Jo Daviess County.
Inter-Community General Public Service:
Mid-Day transportation is available within the following communities:
Warren Mondays 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Elizabeth Tuesdays 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Stockton Wednesdays 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Hanover Thursdays 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Scales Mound Fridays 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Galena Monday thru Saturday 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
General Public Medical Transportation
Transportation is available for medical appointments to Hospitals, Clinics, Doctor's Offices and Dialysis Facilities located in the following communities:
All communities within Jo Daviess County
Freeport and Rockford, Illinois
Dubuque and Iowa City, Iowa
Platteville, Monroe and Madison, Wisconsin
All services are Demand Responsive -- Require reservations.
Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made at least 24 hours in advance of trips.
Service is restricted to available vehicles and oped seats per vehicle.
Allow a window of up to 15 minutes prior to and after scheduled pick up and delivery times.
